Mission:

The mission of Little Learners Ltd is to provide quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum for children in a safe and secure environment. We provide the spark of creativity hoping all our children will become lifelong learners.

The Director and Assistant Director are both Missouri certified teachers with over 37 years of experience between them.  All staff has completed training in First Aid, CPR, & SIDS classes. There are twelve hours of ongoing education taken yearly by each staff member.

Philosophy:

We believe that healthy self esteems and good social skills are critical components to optimal growth in young children.  In order to develop these necessary stepping stones, we focus on developing socialization and self help skills needed to succeed in other areas of development. Children at Little Learners are given the opportunity to explore and create in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment.

7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday

Holidays:

The Center will be closed for the following nationally observed holidays:

January –New Years Day

May—Memorial Day

July—Fourth of July

September—Labor Day

November—Thanksgiving Day & the Friday after

December—Christmas Day & the day after

Admissions, Enrollment, & Fees:

Ages of enrollment are six weeks to five years of age. Full time & part time registrations are accepted subject to the availability of space and accommodations. The exception is in the infant & toddler room where it will be full time only.

Completion of all forms by the center will be required before each child is admitted. The forms shall include child enrollment forms, health information form, immunization records, & the USDA Food Program forms.

There is a one -time enrollment fee of $50.00 per child.

We offer a sibling discount of $10.00 off each child’s weekly tuition.

We accept state aid for families needing help with childcare.

Rates (full time status):

6 weeks—23 months old = $135.00 per child per week

2 years old = $105.00 per child per week

Potty trained 3,4, & 5 year olds = $95.00 per child per week

All children are fed a well balanced diet consisting of a breakfast, lunch, and p.m. snack, which is included in the price of tuition.

 The Daycare and the Preschool both have separate entrances and playgrounds. Both the Daycare and the Preschool utilize age appropriate curriculum. Our babies and toddlers work on gaining control of gross and fine motor skills. The babies have supervised “tummy time” and practice crawling, walking, talking, and many more developmental skills. We work with all our kids on color and shape recognition, counting, matching, sequencing, etc. All students practice basic Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL). The babies also participate in baby signing time.
